PRANAYAMA: CHANGE YOUR BREATH; CHANGE YOUR MIND; HEAL YOUR LIFE

Different breaths affect the body’s health and life force. With Pranayama (Yogic breathing techniques), you can develop *a steady mind, *strong will power, and *sound judgment. By changing your breath you can change your mind: decreasing fear and anxiety; increasing energy and focus; and bringing about a state of calm and harmonious well-being. You can heal your life.

The breath has amazing recuperative powers. Pranayama techniques can treat a variety of stress-related disorders, improving autonomic functions, relieving symptoms of asthma, remedying insomnia, and much more. Sustained pranayama helps to extend life and enhance perception.

This workshop will explore breathing techniques to address anxiety, depression, sluggish energy and fatigue, and build stamina, focus and concentration.

The instructor, Pamela Wilson, is a certified Yoga teacher who trained at the Sivananda Yoga Ashram in Val Morin, Quebec in 1988 with Swami Vishnudevananda. Increasingly focused on the therapeutic aspects of yoga, she has additional certifications in a range of yoga therapies.

Come explore the world of the breath! No experience in Pranayama – or Yoga – is required.
